This is the first stages of our Open 2 Stroke Chassis build.
TDR-GP TECH is now currently building prototypes of our own aluminum Trellis and Delta Box chassis designs for street and race applications. The street frames will be sold as a builder's kit to be registered in the customer's state. All race frames will be serial numbered for documentation purposes.
Round, square, and rectangular aluminum tubing is being used with billet sections to produce a lightweight strong aluminum chassis. Target weight is 280lbs or less with the twin cylinder RZ based engines for starters. Adding as much Titanium & Carbon Fiber parts to help get to the targeted weight or below.
We will be busy building conversion kits for our engines as we progress. Starting with the RZ based engine we will be providing kits to install into the following chassis': YZ & YZF street registered chassis, Honda Hawk, FZR 400, RGV 250, SV 650, and any other chassis that a customer wants converted. The street YZ framed Super Motard conversion is on its 4th build. Go to our sister website to get info and see pictures.
We are building a 3-cylinder version right now. It uses our modified RZ 350 crankcase with an outboard sprocket support and an offset sprocket to get the engine centered. There are 3-cylinder monoblocks already cast and we will be using them as the first build. After that the casting company is working and a special monoblock with the 2 outside cylinders facing forward and the center facing backwards to allow for exhaust pipe placement. We use the reverse cylinder arrangement already on some of our builds.
